To scan damaged plans which are badly wrinkled take two pieces of mylar that match the dimensions of the plans, make a pocket and sandwhich the paper plan in between the mylar. Run this through your scanner. Your scans should come out ironed. Tip submitted by Brian Kramer- FedEx/Kinko's

My HP scanner came with a "C" sized sleeve, but, it took forever to finally find someone who sold oversized "E" like I really needed. I think the local Xerox distributor is where we finally tracked one down. It's nice to finally be able to scan and copy some of the older, more delicate prints in our library.
